This 2nd Sunday in Lent
We are quick to criticize and blame when we are inconvenienced. Have you ever stopped and thanked God for years of uninterrupted power service.
How’s your spiritual power grid. Is it prepared for the extremes life will throw at you. Last week
My patience generator blew. My tolerance transformer exploded until I remembered Who has all power in His Hands.
Let us be more grateful in the good times and less judgmental in challenging times.
You are blessed to be a blessing- God Bless
Father God, I thank You that I have been delivered from the power of darkness and placed into the kingdom of Your Son. I commit to live free from the worry in the name of Jesus. The benefit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.
Father, I humble myself under Your mighty hand, that in due time, You may encourage and motivate me into casting all my cares, all my anxieties, all my worries, all my concerns, once and for all on You; for You lovingly care for me and care about me watchfully. You sustain me; You will never allow the consistently righteous to be moved- made to slip, fall or fail!
Father, I delight myself in You and You perfect that which concerns me. Lord God help me bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Jesus Christ. I lay aside every weight, and the sin of worry which does try to beset me. Help me Father to run with patience the race that is set before me, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of my faith.
I thank you, Father, that I fix my mind on those things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, of good report, virtuous and derserving of your praise; and as a result You let not my heart be troubled. I abide in Your Word and Your Word abides in me. Lord in Your Word is freedom. Father help me not be a forgetful hearer, but instead let me be a doer of the Word and thereby being blessed in my doing!
Father, as I abstain from worry and pursue prayer, I thank You for the peace that only You can give, which goes beyond my understanding. Lord, I pray, as always, in the strong and comforting name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
